Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations

Skin Genesis asks that clients provide 48 hour notice of cancellation or appointment change.

If less than 48 hours notice is provided, or an appointment is missed ("no show"), Skin Genesis reserves the right to redeem a treatment from your package and/or retain any deposit paid. If no deposit is paid, we reserve the right to add a charge of AUD 75 to your file. 

Refunds

Skin Genesis will provide refunds in accordance with the Competition and Consumer Act (Australian Consumer Law). Refunds are NOT provided for change of mind, change of therapist or inability to secure your preferred appointment time.

If there is a problem with a product or service and it can be remedied, we will attempt to remedy it within a reasonable time frame. If remediation is not possible, then you may be entitled to an exchange / store credit.

Please ensure that you keep your proof of purchase for all refunds and exchanges.

Customer results may vary, and as such no refund and/or exchange will be provided if the service or product have not provided the desired results, excluding any faults/major problems above.

Pre-Paid Packages

Pre-paid packages must be redeemed within the following time frames:

  • Pre-paid Skin Treatments - within 12 months of purchase, unless purchased under promotion and the promotion time requirements specify the period of use as something other than 12 months:

  • Pre-paid IPL Treatments - within 12 months of purchase, unless purchased under promotion and the promotion time requirements specify the period of use as something other than 12 months.

Pre-paid packages are purchased at discounted rates and as such, there is no entitlement to refund.
